For nearly two decades, Michael Childers’ celebrity-packed musical spectaculars were the hottest ticket in the Coachella Valley, raising over $2 million for local charities and drawing audiences from across the region. Now, the iconic event returns — bigger, brighter, and on the historic stage in Palm Springs. Net proceeds from Michael Childers Presents One Night Only: The Music of the Movies will go to supporting future Plaza Theatre community programming.
This year's edition, The Music of the Movies, will feature an all-star lineup of acclaimed vocalists performing unforgettable songs from Hollywood’s golden age to today’s cinematic classics. The evening will be hosted by TCM’s Dave Karger, directed by Scott Coulter, and accompanied by musical director Todd Schroeder on piano.
