PALM SPRINGS, CA (September 22, 2025) — The Plaza Theatre is thrilled to unveil Pops at The Plaza, a brand-new concert series designed to light up the desert with four unforgettable evenings of music, storytelling, star power, and the Palm Springs Pops. Kicking off this December and running through spring, the series offers a fresh way to experience world-class entertainment right in the heart of downtown Palm Springs. Become a part of this exciting new annual tradition at The Plaza. Pops at the Plaza is generously sponsored by Scott E. Squillace, Esq., President of the Rolly Michaux Foundation.

Think the thrill of a Broadway performance meets the joy of your favorite playlist — all brought to life by powerhouse vocalists, lush symphonic orchestrations, and a spirit of celebration. From beloved holiday tunes and timeless musical theatre to iconic radio hits and disco anthems, Pops at The Plaza delivers something for every generation. 

Created exclusively for The Plaza by Scott Coulter’s Spot-On Entertainment, season tickets for Pops at The Plaza are on sale now ranging from $198 to $540.  Single tickets will be available in late October. Early booking is strongly recommended; these concerts are expected to sell quickly.

Palm Springs, meet your new holiday tradition! Celebrate the season with a feel-good concert of holiday cheer featuring everything from carols ("O Holy Night") to pop songs ("Santa Baby") to classics ("White Christmas") performed by the Palm Springs Pops and some very special guests including including the Coachella Valley Classical Voices, local favorite singer/actress Lizzie Sosa, the Palm Springs Gay Men's Chorus, cabaret star Carole J. Bufford, songs and storytelling from KESQ-TV's Peter Daut, and even a visit from Santa. This musical celebration will leave your heart full and spirits bright.

Broadway royalty takes the stage for one dazzling night! Tony-nominee Liz Callaway brings her signature warmth, wit, and vocal brilliance to a show packed with stories and songs from her acclaimed career, including her Tony-nominated turn in "Baby," her long run raising the rafters with "Memory" in "Cats," and her Oscar-nominated hit from "Anastasia." It's a spellbinding evening with one of Broadway's very best.

MUSIC OF THE KNIGHTS 

Celebrate the music of three of Britain's most legendary songwriters — Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber, Sir Elton John, and Sir Paul McCartney — in one electrifying evening. A trio of Broadway vocalists, including "Hamilton's" Blaine Krauss, will join the Palm Springs Pops to present hits like "Don't Cry for Me, Argentina," "Circle of Life," "Crocodile Rock,""Your Song," "Yesterday" and more. It's a royal affair of musical masterpieces you won't want to miss.

DISCO INFERNO: THE MUSIC OF THE '70s 

Get ready to groove! This high-energy tribute to the disco decade features hits from the Bee Gees, ABBA, Donna Summer, the Eagles, Gloria Gaynor, and other iconic artists of the '70s. Broadway vocalists and the Palms Springs Pops bring glitter and glam, turning the Plaza into a full-on boogie wonderland. Don't forget your dancing shoes and join two-time Grammy award winner Tamika Lawrence and friends for an unforgettable evening.
