ANNUAL SPRING CONCERT  RHINESTONES & RAINBOWS

Friday, April 24 at 7:00 pm
Saturday, April 25 at 7:00 pm

"I’m flashy, and I’m flamboyant. Had I not been a girl, I definitely would have been a drag queen!" - Dolly Parton (Elle Magazine)

The Spring concert program sparkles with glamorous, unapologetic self-expression. 100 members of the  Chorus dressed up in blue jeans and cowboy boots, and dripping with rhinestones and rainbows. The first half of the program is a salute to the one and only Dolly Parton, featuring songs like “Jolene”, “9 to 5”, and “I Will Always Love You.”

The second half of the program includes selections from some of our most prolific pop-country crossover artists like Olivia Newton-John, Kelly Clarkson, Celine Dion, Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift. All of this music is designed to celebrate and lift up all members of our diverse community - unapologetically - in this time of uncertainty. Audience is encouraged to dress in their best Dolly-inspired attire!

“The partnership with PSGMC reflects the Plaza Theatre’s mission to uplift local talent, honor artistic tradition, and create a cultural gathering place for future generations,” said John Bolton, SVP Oakview Group and GM Plaza Theatre.
